Finally!

Yokatta! I went to AOTS-KKC in Kansai, Osaka last Thursday to attend our Graduation day. I am so happy `coz I finally got my certificate after a year of hardwork and determination. The ceremony started around 3:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm.

I studied my Japanese language and culture at AOTS-YKC in Yokohama last February 2009. There I learned many things about Japan. They introduced us the Japanese` way of life. My specialized training will not be this successful without learning and understanding the Japanese culture and language (because the Japanese way-of-doing job are based on Japanese culture and are thus difficult to express in foreign language).

There I also met and befriended people of different nationalities. I thought it would be difficult to deal with them. But after learning their culture, we developed good friendship towards one another. I learned to accept and respect one`s culture. These wonderful people happened to be my AOTS classmates. I know I`ll be missing them.

After my study in Yokohama, I moved to Osaka to specialize my technical training in my host company. Aummigaud! My boss looks like a Yakuza. He was really scary. But I was so thankful that all my speculations were wrong. He is so kind. And the good thing, he is very good at speaking English `coz he grew up in New York. I don`t know if I am lucky. Am I? jijiji...

Now that my AOTS-Japan course has ended, I will now go back to my country to simply share and apply my knowledge to my workplace. I`ll be leaving Japan in the next two days...Firipin, mata ne!

This is our badge pin made of sterling silver . This emblem is designed to represent AOTS`s three basic aims; the technical training of trainees from the developing countries; mutual understanding; and the strengthening of developing nations` economies. At the same time, the outer triangle`s three sides represent the three developing areas of Asia, Africa and latin America. The triangle itself approximates the initial letter "A" of these three regions. The machine-like appearance represents technology; the union of elements, interdependence and friendship; and the projecting parts, growth and development.
